Our training philosophy focuses on educating young athletes with age & developmentally appropriate trainings on
how to become healthy, and achieve their athletic goals while having fun and not sacrificing their long-term health.
Head Coach Jason has been participating in triathlons, distance cycling and running events for over a decade. He understands
completely what it is like to be a beginner and to have to learn the
basic principles from scratch. His goal is to provide young athletes with the resources to become healthy adults, while learning techniques to become better future athletes.
Jason's experiences has lead him to be one of the few USAT Youth & Junior Certified Coaches in California. He takes the role of training young athletes seriously because he knows that they will be learning skills that will lead to healthy lifestyles.
He has coached over 140 athletes ranging in age from 8 - 71. He believes that the most important part of racing is just showing up. You may not be able to control what happens during a race, but at least you are racing!
Jason entered the sport later in life and competed in triathlons up to Ironman distance races. He currently resides in Novato with his wife, daughter and Indy the greyhound.
